Sharon High Golfers Land Tournament Berth
Eagles 7-1 after edging host Foxborough, 180 to 183.
The Sharon High School golf team clinched a state tournament spot Wednesday, head coach Thor Van Vaerenewyck said.
The Eagles won their fifth straight match, defeating Foxborough, 180 to 183, at the Foxborough Country Club, he said.
"Colton Bader shot 45 in the last group to clinch the win," Van Vaerenewyck said. "Isabel Southard shot 42 (and) Matt Corman shot 45."

The 7-1 Eagles face Canton at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton.
