Liz Leehey, Neighbor

Elizabeth Leehey is a Clarinet Instructor and Performing Artist in Sharon. She maintains a clarinet studio in Sharon, MA where she offers private instruction and chamber music coaching to children and adults of all levels. With over thirty years of teaching experience, Elizabeth has developed a style of teaching that both inspires and challenges students to develop individuality and expressiveness in their music making along with a high level of technical ability on their instrument. Her students have been accepted into many prestigious ensembles including the New England Conservatory Youth Ensembles, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, National Wind Ensemble, and Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Ensembles.

Elizabeth has been a featured soloist on concert series at universities, music schools and art centers in the Unites States and in Spain. She collaborates with the Boston Arts Consort in presenting the music and culture of Spain to Boston audiences. She is also the co-creator of twenty-two new transcriptions for flute and clarinet duo which are published with Sheetmusicplus.com.
