Lisa Maidment, Neighbor

Lisa Maidment, maiden name Peckham, grew up in Sharon and was a member of the SHS gymnastics team from 1980-1984. She then attended Springfield college where she was a NCAA Division II Gymnastics championship all around competitor and team captain in1988. After coaching at the collegiate level, coaching gymnasts in the USA junior olympic program to State and National competitions, and then moving to Virginia; Lisa returned to Sharon with her husband and two children in 2005. She is currently a guidance counselor at Dighton - Rehoboth Regional High School and continues to coach part time at Arnold's Gymnastics Academy. Lisa personally understands the commitment, dedication, and hard work that is required of gymnasts and feels they deserve public recognition like all athletes when they achieve success.
