The Cooperative School provides families and their children aged 2 years 9 months to 5 years with a nurturing, child-centered and developmentally appropriate environment in which to grow. We are a 501c3 non-profit school licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) and accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Calendar: The school is in session for 10 months from September through June. We also offer a Summer Program during July and August.

Summer Program: The Summer Program is enrolled separately. Families who not enrolled in the school year program are welcome to join us in the summer. The hours, teaching staff and schedule remain the same with more outside time built in.

Daily and Weekly Schedule: The school is open 5 days a week from 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM. Families have the option of enrolling their children 3 to 5 days a week. Priority enrollment is given to current families and alumni families and to those enrolling for 5 days, then 4 days, and then 3 days.

Classes: The school offers 4 age-divided classrooms, which stay together throughout the year forming a close-knit group. Primary teaching teams stay with their children throughout the day.

Tours: Parents are asked to visit the school and speak with the educators, families and director. Please call or email to schedule a visit.
