Gannett Terrace Resident Faces More Sharon Charges

Police also charge her brother.

A Gannett Terrace resident faces three new charges stemming from recent Sharon housebreaks. And Sharon Police now have charged her brother in connection with one break-in. The new charges against Christine Haidar, 36, and Rami Attia, 35, stem from police executing a search warrant at their home, 19 Gannett Terrace, on Friday, part of an ongoing investigation, police said today in a press release. Police charged Haidar with three new counts of receiving stolen property (jewelry). Last Wednesday, police arrested Haidar at her home and charged her with two counts of receiving stolen property. That arrest warrant "linked Haidar to jewelry stolen from two residential housebreaks that occurred in Sharon over the past two weeks," police said. …

Sharon Police Allege Resident Linked to Two Housebreaks

Police arrested her today.

Sharon Police today alleged that a Gannett Terrace resident is linked to jewelry stolen during two Sharon housebreaks over the past two weeks. Police today arrested Christine Haidar, 36, at her residence, at 19 Gannett Terrace, on a warrant charging her with two counts of receiving stolen property, police said in a press release. Police also arrested Haidar on a second, West Roxbury District Court warrant, for shoplifting. Sharon Police Detectives Scott Leonard and Kevin Bishop arrested Haidar with assistance from Officer Gus Patino, police said. Haidar was arraigned on both warrants today in Stoughton District Court. Sharon Housebreak Suspect Returned from NH

Second suspect remains held in the Granite State.

Sharon Police have brought one of two suspects in several Sharon housebreaks this summer back from New Hampshire, where the duo was arrested in August. Sharon Police brought Hannah Boraks back here last Friday, according to Deputy Police Chief J.J. McGrath. Hannah Boraks has since pled not guilty during her arraignment in Stoughton District Court, according to David Traub, spokesman for the Norfolk County district attorney's office. The second suspect, Andrew Busa, remains held in New Hampshire, McGrath said. In August, Sharon Police said they planned to charge the pair in six housebreaks. Sharon Police: Six Housebreaks For Local Pair

A local pair faces charges in five more Sharon housebreaks, for a grand total of six, Sharon Police said Friday. Andrew Busa and Hannah Boraks allegedly committed the additional break-ins in June and July, police said in a press release. Police previously charged Busa, 26, and Boraks, 22, in connection with a July 19 house break on Edge Hill Road. In that incident, both suspects were charged with breaking and entering daytime with intent to commit a felony, attempt to commit a crime (larceny), obstruction of justice and conspiracy to commit a crime.
