Sharon Fire Log: Passenger Vehicle Fire on I-95

The following information was provided by the Sharon Fire Department log.

Sunday, Feb. 10 1:35 p.m. - There was an investigation of a natural gas leak/LPG on Maple Avenue.  7:28 p.m. - A carbon monoxide incident was investigated on Massapoag Avenue. Monday,  11 10:01 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported on South Main Street. Saturday, Feb. 16 7:44 a.m. - A passenger vehicle was reportedly on fire on in the area of General Edwards and I-95. The Sharon Fire Department was able to extinguish quickly. No injuries were reported. Friday, Feb. 22 11:29 a.m. - There was a hazardous materials leak of oil or other combustible liquid spill at 30 S. Walpole Street which the fire department contained. 3:34 p.m. - A natural gas/LPG leak at 316 Massapoag Ave. System was shut down.

Sharon Fire Log: Small Brush Fire on Lyndon Road

The following information was provided by the Sharon Fire Department daily log.

Sunday, Jan. 27 10:48 p.m. - The Sharon Fire Department ventilated a home of smoke onDeborah Sampson Street.   Monday, Jan. 28 7:10 p.m. - An electrical wiring issue was reported on Knob Hill Road. The Sharon Fire Department responded to the scene and shut the system down. Thursday, Jan. 31 7:23 a.m. - Power lines were reported down on Hampton Road near Highland Avenue Hampshire Avenue. 8:44 a.m. - A natural gas leak was reported on South Main Street. Saturday, Feb. 2 5:30 p.m. - A brush fire was reported on Lyndon Road, but was quickly extinguished.

Sharon Fire Log: Stove Top Cooking Fire, Natural Gas Leak

The following information was provided by the Sharon Fire Department daily log.

Monday, Jan. 21 5:44 p.m. - The Sharon Fire Department responded to a stove-top cooking fire at a residence on Bradford Avenue. Fire crews were called and the fire was out upon arrival. The home was then ventilated. 7:07 p.m. - A natural gas/LPG leak was reported on Norwood Street. The Sharon Fire Department ventilated the home. Thursday, Jan. 24 6:24 a.m. - A smell of carbon monoxide was reported at a residence on Norwood Street. The Sharon Fire Department ventilated the home.

Sharon Fire Log: Cooking Fire, Steam Leak and a Fire in Stoughton

The following information has been provided by the Sharon Fire Department daily log.

Sunday, Jan. 6 12:56 a.m. - A water/steam leak was reported at 25 East St. which was referred to proper authority. 10:42 a.m. - A smoke/odor removal at 26 Pond St. was investigated. Monday, Jan. 7 8:58 p.m. - A cooking fire which was confined to a container. A home had to be ventilated to get the smoke out. Tuesday, Jan. 8 6:56 p.m. - A natural gas or LPG leak at 219 Massapoag Ave. was investigated. Wednesday, Jan. 9 3:09 p.m. - A smell of smoke was reported at 172 No. Main Street, which was investigated. Friday, Jan. 11 8:44 a.m. - A natural gas/LPG leak at 41 Brook Rd. was investigated. 10:20 a.m. - The Sharon Fire Department assisted Stoughton Fire Department for a building fire at 31 Wales Ave. in Stoughton. The fire was extinguished. …

Sharon Fire Log: Chimney Fire at Kennedy Rd.

The following information was provided by the Sharon Fire Department daily log.

Monday, Nov. 26 (6:52 p.m.) A natural gas leak was investigated on 13 Lilac St. Tuesday, Nov. 27 (12:14 p.m.) According to reports, there was a motor vehicle accident that required advanced life support on 13 Dehart Ave. Wednesday, Nov. 28 (5:46 p.m.) There was a gas leak at 454 South Main St. that required Sharon Fire to shut down the system. Saturday, Dec. 1 (2:49 p.m.)  Sharon Fire investigated a chimney fire at 22 Kennedy Rd.

Sharon Fire Log: A Small Brush Fire on Rte. 95 South

The following information was provided by the Sharon Fire Department daily log.

Nov. 11 3:33 p.m. - A natural gas leak at 19 High St. was investigated. Nov. 14 12:13 a.m. - A malfunction in a smoke detector at 23 Inca Trail caused the alarm to go off. The alarm system was restored. 11:55 a.m. - There was a steam leak at 47 Richards Ave., which was investigated and taken care of. 1:11 p.m. - A motor vehicle accident with injuries occur ed on Rte. 1 over the Rte. 95 overpass. First aid was provided. 7:19 p.m. - A small brush fire on Rte. 95 south of Coney Street. The fire was extinguished. Nov. 17 6:53 p.m. - There was a natural gas leak at 21 Aspen Rd. The hazardous material was identified and analyzed. 8:32 p.m. - A carbon monoxide incident at Rte. 95 S. Pleasant Street was investigated.

Sharon Fire Log: Car Fire on Rte. 1, Downed Wires Reported

The following information was provided by the Sharon Fire Department.

Nov. 4 6:29 p.m. - A smoke detector malfunction caused an alarm to go off. Restored fire alarm system. Nov. 7 11:06 a.m. - There was a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of Main Street and Canton Street. First aid was provided and injuries were checked. 5:48 a.m. - A problem with electrical wiring and equipment was reported on Alden and Bradford Street. Other agencies were notified. Nov. 8 10:17 a.m. - There was a power line down on West Street that was investigated. 2:18 p.m. - A motor vehicle fire on Rte. 1 northbound was investigated. Nov. 9 8:09 a.m. - There was a power line down on Pond Street that was investigated. Nov. 10 5:24 p.m. - A natural gas leak or LPG on Aspen Road was investigated. 5:35 p.m. - Crews responded …
