The Unitarian Church of Sharon vigil is for families affected by the Newtown shooting and to end violence in America.
The Unitarian Church of Sharon held a vigil on Thursday night to honor families affected by last week's shooting in Newtown, Conn. Reverend Jim Robinson of the Unitarian Church is hoping to mark this as the beginning of a month-long vigil against violence. There were sharings from Reverend Steve Alspach from the First Congregational Church and Karin Firoza of the Interfaith Religious Leaders Group of Sharon and aslo Youth LEAD Sharon. Reverend Alspach asked people in the congregation to join together with the person sitting next to them, to share their thoughts and sorrows of the Newtown tragedy.
