5 Things, Sept. 17: School Closed for Rosh Hashanah

No school today because of the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashannah.

1. No school today, it's the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah. Happy New Year to all of our friends who celebrate Rosh Hashanah. 2. At 9 a.m. today, there will be yoga at the Sharon Council on the Aging. 3. Open Art Studio will be held at 1 p.m. today sponsored by the Sharon Council on the Aging. 4. The Sharon Department of Recreation is taking applications for their upcoming Mommy, Daddy and Me Kayaking which runs from Sept. 24 to Oct. 15. Class is held at Lake Massapoag from 2:30 - 4:00 pm. 5 Things, Sept. 14: Reebok World Classic, Author Visit and a Craft Fair

Grab your sneakers and head on over to Reebok World Headquarters on Saturday for the 8th Annual Reebok Road Race!

A busy weekend is in store for the Sharon area. Here are some things to keep in mind: 1. On Saturday Sept. 15, 2012, it's the 8th Annual Reebok Road Race, Reebok World Headquarters in Canton. Start time: 8:30am with a 1 mile fun run for the kids, 8:55am the wheelchair race followed by the 5K and 10 K starting at 9:00am. Free tee shirts for the first 100 participants.
