Real Estate Report: Sharon Home Sales Down in March, Up Statewide
New data from the Warren Group shows that home sales in Sharon slightly decreased last month.
Sharon saw its home sales drop in March, according to data released by real estate information firm The Warren Group. A total of eight homes were sold in Sharon in March 2013, as compared to 10 in March 2012, showing a 20 percent drop in home sales, according to the report. Year-to-date sales, however, were up in March 2013 at 38, compared to only 31 at this time in 2012. While sales were up, the median home price also climbed from $309,500 in March 2012 to $340,625 in March 2013. The year-to-date median price climbed as well, from $360,000 in 2012 to $447,625 in 2013. In Massachusetts, 3,214 homes sold in March 2013, slightly down over last year's 3,100 sales.
