Police Report 62 Custodies at Sunday’s Patriots-49ers Game at Gillette Stadium

The following is a summary of police activity and incidents reported from Sunday’s NFL regular season game between the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers at Gillette Stadium, as reported in Foxborough's police logs.

Editor’s note: The following information was provided by the Foxborough Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction. Sunday night’s New England Patriots football game at Gillette Stadium drew a crowd of 65,043; slightly less than the 65,435 at Gillette Stadium six days earlier to see the Pats take on the Houston Texans. Foxborough Police Chief Edward O’Leary said there were 54 people taken into protective custody Sunday night and eight people arrested. In addition to the 62 custodies reported, a caller at 6:31 p.m. told Foxborough Police a North Street resident was violating the town’s parking bylaw. Patriots President Jonathan Kraft told media Sunday The Kraft Group and his family will be donating $25,000 to those affected by the Newtown tragedy. On Sunday, the Patriots honored the 26 victims of the school shooting with a special moment of silence.
