New England Patriots will open 2013 season on the road against the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 8 followed by the home opener at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 12 against the New York Jets.
The NFL regular season schedules are out and the New England Patriots are once again in the spotlight with five primetime games including a Thursday night game against the New York Jets Sept. 12 in the 2013 home opener at Gillette Stadium. Last season, the Patriots traveled to face the Jets in a Thursday game on Thanksgiving night at MetLife Stadium and earned a 49-19 victory. Auditions will be held in Gillette Stadium's Dana Farber Field House. Registration begins at 10 a.m.
The New England Patriots cheerleaders will hold an open audition for the 2013 squad on Saturday, March 2. Women who are at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED are invited to audition. The auditions will take place in Gillette Stadium’s Dana Farber Field House. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Candidates will perform two designated routines and a freestyle combination. They will be judged on dance ability, showmanship, overall appearance and level of physical fitness. While many Patriots fans are spending Super Bowl week disappointed the team won’t be taking the field Sunday in New Orleans, some are in higher spirits after receiving an unexpected message from the face of the franchise.
