Sharon Eagles Prepare for Super Bowl Battle This Saturday

The Sharon High football team will take on Wayland at Bentley University on Saturday with a kickoff time of 10 a.m.

The Sharon High School football team has had a great season and is now, for the first time in the school's history, on its way to the MIAA Division 3 Super Bowl this Saturday, Dec. 1. The Eagles will take on Wayland at Bentley University in Waltham with a kickoff time of 10 a.m. The achievement comes just two years after a one-win season, and after a postseason win with a 7-6 victory over the Pembroke Titans at Braintree High School on Tuesday night.  A number of Sharon's school officials told Sharon Patch how proud they were of the team and how excited they were for Saturday's big game. Sharon Edges Out Pembroke, Advance to D3 Super Bowl Saturday at Bentley

The Eagles beat Pembroke 7-6 to advance to their first MIAA Super Bowl in school history. Sharon will be playing Wayland at Bentley University Saturday at 10 a.m.

Only two years after a one win season, Sharon High School football now find themselves one win away from a MIAA Division 3 Super Bowl Championship, their first in school history. The Eagles will be playing Wayland at Bentley University Saturday at Bentley University. In a season of firsts, the Eagles picked up their first postseason win in their first try with a 7-6 win over the Pembroke Titans at Braintree High School. It was Pembroke's third loss of the season to a Hockomock League as they also lost to Oliver Ames and Stoughton. Driving down the Pembroke 33 yard line to start, the Eagles had nothing to show for their work as a fumble by Sean Asnes gave the Titans the ball with 5:43 left to play in the first quarter.
