Eagles open 2011-2012 on Wednesday.
The Sharon High School girls swimming roster features just one senior. However, "we have a lot of depth this year," new head coach Jennifer Iverson says. The Eagles 2011-2012 season opener is against Mansfield at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Randolph High School, Sharon's home pool. Juniors Erin Seigel and Caroline Sun are Sharon's co-captains. Seigel is a breaststroker, and Sun does middle and long distances, and is a freestyler, Iverson said. "In and out of the pool, they're just excellent girls. They're great leaders. They're great role models. They encourage the other swimmers to really give it their all," said Iverson, who succeeds Adrienne Smutko, who coached the team the past two seasons. Smutko moved away this summer. John Perry is Iverson'…
