Patriot Place Adds High-End Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse to Restaurant Mix

Saga Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar plans to open in Foxborough this summer after its application and licenses were approved Tuesday by the Board of Selectmen.

Patriot Place continued its recent boom in business by adding a high-end Japanese hibachi steakhouse to its restaurant mix. Saga Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar is coming to Foxborough, expected to open this summer after the town’s Board of Selectmen unanimously approved all licenses and applications at Tuesday’s meeting. "We're incredibly excited to add Saga and the exciting atmosphere that a high-end, hibachi-style restaurant brings," said Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley. "We were happy to see that the [Board of Selectmen] shares our enthusiasm and sees this as a positive addition to Patriot Place and to Foxborough." Foxborough’s Parking Ban Takes Effect This Weekend for Country Fest

Foxborough Police Chief Edward O'Leary and Building Inspector Bill Casbarra said the town's parking bylaw during stadium events is now in effect and police will begin enforcing it at this weekend's New England Country Music Festival featuring Kenny Chesne

Foxborough's ban on parking for a fee in residential neighborhoods during Gillette Stadium events is now in effect and local authorities are ready to put it into action. "[Monday] night, in my personal car, with my sunglasses on and a hat – I looked like a movie star – I drove down North Street and was waved in [to park for a fee] by 11 homeowners," said Foxborough Building Inspector Bill Casbarra, referring to activity prior to Monday night's Patriots game. ... "On Friday, I'm going to be back and if you are someone that is charging [to park], you are going to get a ticket." The parking ban was not in effect for Monday's Patriots game against the Philadelphia Eagles but will be for this weekend's New England Country Music Festival. …
