Sharon Middle School eighth-grader Coby Tippett has been chosen for a national youth football game. Tippett, a defensive back, will play for the 8th-grade East 185-pound weight limit team in the 2012 Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl on Jan. 8, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, the Boston Herald reports. Tippett will receive a jersey during Saturday's Sharon High School Homecoming game, the Herald reports. Tippett's father is NFL Hall of Famer and former New England Patriot Andre Tippett.
