Dr. Eric Greenspan of the Chiropractic Health Group in Cobbs Corner specializes in auto, work and athletic injuries. Greenspan, a Sharon native and now Canton resident, helps patients with back and neck pain by making a few adjustments and manipulation to unlock a binding spinal joint. Patch sat down with Greenspan to find out more about the conditions that can be treated from seeing a chiropractor and also a common concern of how safe is it to have your back and neck cracked. Coolen's Pet Supply, located right in the heart of Cobbs Corner, is more than just a pet food store. There are also small animals looking to be adopted, and others who are visiting for a small fee while their families are away. Patch recently spoke with owner Guy Coolen as he handled an albino red tail boa constrictor, which can reach a length of anywhere from three to 13 feet. Coolen is active in animal adoption. He has many small animals who have been brought in by owners who can no longer care for them and who are looking for forever homes. Patch: How long have you been in business? On Saturday, Jan. 26, FOG Academy will host a free "Family Fun Day" at 427 Turnpike Street in Canton. FOG Academy is new Canton-based biblical and education childcare center, currently caring for children 6 weeks to 5 years. "It is the lowest costing group childcare center in Canton and hosting a Family Fun Day and getting Canton businesses involved was a way to give back to the community," said Kay Garber, Director of the Fountain of Grace Academy. The Village Shoppes celebrated the holiday season with a holiday stroll.
On Saturday, Dec. 15 and Sunday De. 16 the Village Shoppes in Cobbs Corner, right on the border of Sharon, was the hub of a holiday stroll. The two-day event featured a hay ride, holiday songs by the Canton Community Theatre Group, steel drums provided by "The Xisles Drums", a hayride around the Cobbs Corner parking lot with Pat Mann and two large horses from the "Whispering Wind Farm" in Chepachet, Rhode Island and Santa Claus posing for photos with the kids. The stroll kept the parking lot filled and the stores over flowing with shoppers. The holiday spirit was truly in the air. Here are some photos from the event. Halloween is just a few weeks away. How are you decorating for the holiday in Sharon? The Hidden Hotel, at the Village Shoppes in Cobbs Corner opened for guests over the weekend. It's said to be the scariest house experience in Massachusetts. It will be open every weekend through October. Have you picked up your pumpkins yet? How about corn stalks? Ward's Berry Farm in Sharon still has lots of pumpkins and fall flowering plants available. And what about a costume? Even if you're just opening the door for your trick-o-treaters, it makes it all the more fun to dress up yourself. The Hidden Hotel at 95 Washington Street in the Village Shoppes at Cobbs Corner where Sharon and Canton meet is now ready and open for business. Don't be frightened by the childrens screams as they exit the back door of the house. This isn't for the timid and shy. Bob Ward, of Ward Communications has put together a large pool of actors to resemble the ghosts and goblins of our past. The Hidden Hotel will be open on weekends through the end of October. Randy Davis started performing at the Halfway Cafe Restaurant at the Village Shoppes in 2008 where he performs twice a month. He doesn't have to walk far from his day job as the Store Manager of Rockys Ace Hardware also in Cobbs Corner. Davis started playing guitar at the age of 10. His influences include Elvis Presley, KISS, Jimi Hendrix and the Kinks. He's played in many garage bands throughout High School and into college. In 2008 Davis went to see Ray Davies from the Kinks perform at Lupo's in Providence, Rhode Island. Davies brought Davis up on stage where they shared vocals in an encore performance of "Low Budget" a Kinks hit. He performs 4 to 6 shows per month in restaurants and Pubs all over the South Shore and Boston. …

Mission is my favorite store. I don't like to look ordinary and Mission has something for everyone. The staff has dressed me for countless occasions right down to me texting them pics of my shoes in my closet so they could tell me which looks best! They have amazing style and personality.
