VIDEO: Year of the Dragon Ready to Roar in Sharon

Sharon's annual Chinese New Year Celebration is Saturday.

The Year of the Dragon will come to life in Sharon this weekend. Sharon's annual Chinese New Year Celebration is from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Sharon High School auditorium. The proceeds from the effort between Sharon's Chinese community and the Sharon public schools will benefit the schools' Foreign Language and Culture Program, organizers say. About 57 students from the Sharon AP Chinese School will participate: 20 will dance, and 37 will be in a Chinese Language performance called "Happy Animals," said Pan Chen, one of the event organizers.
