Sharon High Division 3 Super Bowl Champions!!!!

The Sharon High football team played for the first time in the Division 3 Super Bowl against Wayland Saturday at Bentley University in Waltham. The Eagles posted a 12-3 win over Wayland.

From worst to first, the Sharon High football team completed their historic 2012 ride by beating Wayland, 12-3, in the Division 3 Super Bowl at Bentley Univeristy Saturday. A strong defensive, by an interception by Brad Schiff, and two touchdowns by Sean Asnes, led the Eagles to their first title. On the opening kickoff of the second half, Asnes flew by the Wayland kickoff team for an 82-yard touchdown and a 12-0 lead at 9:40 mark of the third quarter. Before the quarter ended, Wayland ended the shutout with a 30-yard field by Eric MacLean. Sharon was called for roughing the kicker on the play, but the penalty was given on the kickoff. Game time for Sharon High Football: Division 3 Super Bowl Today

The Sharon High football team will be playing in their first Super Bowl game against Wayland at Bentley University today at 10 a.m.

  When the Sharon High football team takes to the field against Wayland Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Division 3 Super Bowl at Bentley University, the Eagles will be making more history, in what has already been a historic year for the program. Sharon, who won the Hockomock League's Davenport Division, then beat Pembroke in the Division 3 playoffs, is now on the verge of bringing home their first Super Bowl title. All the Eagles have to do in beat Wayland and head coach Dave Morse and his team's journey from the bottom to the top is completed. Things were so bad for the Eagles in the past that could just manage one win seasons for several years. The Eagles even left the Hockomock League at one point to be to be an independent team to build up…
