By Jeff Fish

The day camp at Mass Aududon’s Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary was named one of the “Best of the Best” by the Boston Parents Paper, according to a statement from Mass Audubon. Moose Hill was listed in the top five in the magazine’s day camp category in its newly released 2013 Family Favorite Awards issue.

“We feel just wonderful to be honoroed by Boston Parents Paper,” said Moose Hill Camp director Kay Andbery in the statement. “Indeed, this honor validates how we encourage children to connect with nature in fun and engaging ways.”

Moose Hill Camp has offers “outdoor exploration, hands-on/minds-on activities, creative art projects and non-competative games” to children three to 14, said the statement.

Andberg, who has been the director for 20 years, said reviews like the one from Boston Parents Paper “are very gratifying, especially for our staff. We have top-notch personnel, who are trained to help kids connect with other kids and have a lot of fun.”
