Welcome Home Super Bowl Champion Sharon Eagles

The Sharon High football team was greeted by an adoring crowd and police escort after their 12-3 win over Wayland Saturday.

 

A crowd of families and friends waited in the cold and light snow at Sharon High Saturday afternoon to get the new Division 3 Super Bowl champions.

While, the title was only a couple of hours old when the Eagles, led by a Sharon police escort, pulled behind the high school gym to cheers from the families.

Head coach Dave Morse was the first off the bus, clutching the MIAA Division 3 Super Bowl trophy. As each player made their way down the bus stairs, the coach hugged them and called them Super Bowl champions.

This was the Eagles' first title in football and there will be a new banner going up in the gym for them.
