The New Balance Falmouth Road Race will be celebrating its 41st running Sunday, Aug, 11, and Sharon residents will be among the more than 11,000 runners competing in the seven-mike race.
Running from the town will be Michael Baker, Stephen Blum, Nicholas Braude, Caitlin Davenport, Jason Davenport, Michelle Davenport, James Egan, Mildred Egan, Eugene P. Flynn, Amy Gallagher, Brett Gallagher, Greg Glassman, James Golden, Teri Gorsky, Ryan Gott, Adam Gray, Denise Gray, Peter Gray, Dominic Grew, Kelley Hippler, Bruce Hoffman, Jeffrey Jacobson, Amy Katz, Gary Keimach, Steven Kessler, Warren Kirshenbaum, Megan Mannino, David Milowe, Beth Rapaport, Jim Ricciardi, Dennis Rogers, Robert Rosenblatt, Carly Ryter, Holli Ryter, Jake Ryter, Matthew Ryter, Robert Ryter, Jeffrey Schnipper, Barbara Schultz, Sandra Tan, Amy Wiebe and Travis Wiebe.
The race starts in from Woods Hole Community Center and finishes in Falmouth Heights. The race goes around the historic Nobska Lighthouse and take the scenic route next to the waters of Vineyard Sound.
