The College Board has released its annual survey of average SAT scores for schools. Boston.com has a slideshow with the top 15 schools. There are a lot of schools you'd expect at the top of the list in Massachusetts, along with a few surprises.
Included on the list? Sharon High School which ranked number 14 on the list. The 298 students who took the test had a mean score of 1789 which is about a 1200 on the old SAT scoring system that you remember from high school.
Other top-performing schools include Lexington, Newton South and Wellesley. Check out the full slideshow at boston.com.
