More Honors for the Sharon High Football Team

The Sharon High football team is ranked in both the Boston Globe and the ESPN-Boston polls.

 

The Sharon High football team earned top 25 spots in both the Boston Globe and ESPN-Boston football ranking.

In the Globe/Boston.com Top 100, the Eagles (10-3) are No. 20 list. Both Mansfield (8-5) and King Philip (10-1) in the Hockomock League's Kelley-Rex Division are ranked higher than the Eagles, who won the Davenport Division.

King Philip, who was second in the Kelley-Rex Division and didn't make the postseason, was in the 12th spot.

Mansfield, who won the Kelley-Rex Division and lost to Reading in the Division 2 Super Bowl, are rated 16.

Everett is the No. 1 after going 11-1 during the year.

In the ESPN-Boston Poll, the Eagles are 21st ranked team, right behind King Philip at 20. Mansfield moved up to the 12th spot.

Like they were in the Globe poll, Everett claimed the top spot in th ESPN-Boston poll.
