Sharon High School Celebrates World Kindness Day !

On World Kindness Day, (November 13th), everyone at Sharon High School participated in an incredible activity.  Students and staff were invited to write something positive about a friend, family member, teacher, etc. on brightly colored post it notes.  What is really fantastic about this celebration of World Kindness, is that the entire school paused, at a designated time, to write notes of kindness !  Student volunteers collected the notes and posted hundreds and hundreds of post its below a World Kindness Day banner which was designed by SHS Art Club students.  Certainly a picture is worth MORE than a thousand words.
The display of kindness is absolutely impressive. In a world where we all too frequently hear about school tragedies and bullying, Sharon High School is focused on providing opportunities through events such as this, to promote kindness and bring out the best in our school community.
