Hamilton-Wenham expanded its lead to 450-235 during the categories round, featuring six categories of five questions of increasing value: The Fab Four, Fashion Statement, What the Dickens!, Ship Shape, The Cold War and Galaxy Quest.
The contest ended with a 90-second lightning round, with each correct and incorrect answer worth 20 points.
Sharon's on-air team included junior Hari Anbarasu and sophomores Peter Riley, Siddharth Singh and Clara Mao.
