Grant Helps Fund Heights School Security Cameras

Norfolk County district attorney's office gives Heights $3,000 toward $6,671.25 project.

officials will better monitor two areas of the school grounds thanks partly to a Norfolk County district attorney's office grant.

The $3,000 School Security grant will help support a $6,671.25 surveillance camera project, Principal Lisa Lamore told the school committee in a Dec. 1 memo.

The project will put cameras near the school's South Main Street entrance and the loading dock, she said.

The remaining funds will come from the school district's rental revolving fund, Lemore said.
