The presentation by Dr. Stuart Sears will be on the unprecedented revolutions sweeping the Arab world. With special emphasis on Egypt and Syria, the talk will examine some of the political,religious and military forces that are shaping these events and the impact that these events are having the region and the world. Dr. Sears is a scholar of Arab culture and language and is a Sharon resident.
The presentation is part of a speaker series that is free and open to the public at the Meetinghouse, 4 North Main Street Sharon. It is held every first Friday evening from October-May at 7pm.
