Sharon selectmen Tuesday night named William Heitin their new chairman.
Heitin succeeds , who held the post for one year. Voters at the May 15 annual town election re-elected Powell to a third three-year term on the board. He received 795 votes of the 1,245 ballots. Write-in candidate Michael O'Shea finished second with 396 votes.
Heitin is eligible for re-election next spring.
