Obama Backlash to Benefit Baker?

Obama will visit Massachusetts on Wednesday.

Gubernatorial hopeful Charlie Baker could stand to benefit this week as President Obama swings by the Bay State, experts told the Boston Herald.

Baker, a Republican and former CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, is taking another shot at the governor's office after he was beat by Gov. Deval Patrick in 2010.

Political experts told the Herald there's a growing backlash against Obama and Patrick after the disastrous Obamacare rollout.

Republican consultant Patrick Griffin compared Obama to plutonium.

"You don’t mind looking at it from far away, but you don’t want to get too close because it might do bodily harm," Griffin told the Herald.

Obama is scheduled to make stops in Cambridge and South Boston Wednesday.
