Whoever Sharon’s next town administrator is, they are going to have to get though the newly formed screening committee.
The board will include two recommended members from Selectman Bill Heitin. Former Finance Committee member David Fixler who is an attorney by trade and Steven Rabb who is a Sharon native will join the committee. Rabb has been involved in youth sports over the year but is now looking to get more involved in town government.
“I think he (Rabb) would bring a different perspective as someone that hasn’t been involved in town government,” Heintin said.
Selectman Joe Roach selected Paul Piteal who was the former Finance Committee chair and former selectwoman Colleen Tuck.
As required, Len Sacon will represent the Personnel Board.
In September, town administrator Ben Puritz announced his intent to retire in February after 33 years in the position.
