Sharon Police Log: Snow Brings Down Wires on Roadways

Sunday, Dec. 30

4:06 p.m. - A report of vandalism to a mailbox on Eagle Drive.

4:07 p.m. - An automobile accident involving two cars on Moose Hill Street with property damage but no injuries.

4:35 p.m. - Icey road conditions were reported on South Main Street. The town department was notified.

Tuesday, Jan. 1

12:05 a.m. - Malicious destruction of property on Pond Street when neighbor was banging on the door of the home. 

1:07 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident with property damage on Norwood Street and Maskwonicut Street.

2:53 a.m. - A noise complaint over a loud party on Beach Street was reported.

2:59 p.m. - Erratic operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, tailgating and passing on Billings and Pond Street.

8:26 p.m. - Hazardous conditions on South Pleasant Street and Oakland Road, missing manhole cover.

Wednesday, Jan. 2

11:07 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident with property damage on Billings Street and Cottage Street.

Thursday, Jan. 3

9:13 a.m. - There were trees on wires reported to NSTAR on Hampton Road and Deerfield.

1:49 a.m. - A speeding citation was issued to a Massachusetts motorist on South Main Street and Wolomolopoag.

3:10 p.m. - A report of identity theft on Condor Road.

7:03 p.m. - Report of a loose German Shepard in the area of Edge Hill Road and Tiot Street.

Friday, Jan. 4

8:02 a.m. - A report of a wire across the roadway on Gannett Trail.

9:12 a.m. - A speeding citation was issued to a Massachusetts motorist on Garden Street and South Main Street.

9:50 a.m. - A report of breaking and entering on Moose Hill Park.

Saturday, Jan. 5

9:02 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident with property damage on Beach Street.

9:43 a.m. - A Massachusetts motorist received a citation for not wearing a seat belt on South Main Street.

10:19 a.m. - An officer reported wires down on East Street and Billings. Utility company was notified.

7:47 p.m. - A motor vehicle accident with property damage on South Walpole Street and Old Post Road.
