Sharon Police Log: Hunters with Shotguns Seen on Edge Hill Road

The following information was provided by the Sharon Police Department Daily Log. Where arrests were made, they do not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 11

7:53 a.m. - There was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Edge Hill Road when a motorist hit a tree.  

10:30 a.m. - A speeding citation was given to a Massachusetts motorist on Ashcroft Road and North Main Street.

1:39 p.m. - An injured seagull on Hampton Road was reported.

6:36 p.m. - Erratic driving of a Massachusetts motorist was reported on South Main and Wolomolopoag Street.

8:35 p.m. - A citation was issued for improper passing in a marked lane to a Massachusetts motorist on Norwood Street and High Plain Street.

Nov. 12

4:04 p.m. - Suspicious activity when hunters with shotguns were seen on the side of the road at Edge Hill Road and Tiot Street.

4:42 p.m. - A speeding citation was given to a Massachusetts motorist on High Plain Street and High Plain Circle.

9:45 p.m. - A Massachusetts motorist was given a speeding citation on Edge Hill Road.

11:19 p.m. - A disturbance/noise complaint when gunshots were heard from the club on Belcher Street.

Nov. 13

7:56p.m. - A speeding citation was issued to a Massachusetts motorist on North Main Street and Brook Road.

Nov. 14

11:44 a.m. - A two-car accident on South Main Street and Walnut Street with property damage.

9:05 p.m. - There was a report of a suspicious light on at the Temple on South Main Street and Post Office Square.

Nov. 15

3:29 p.m. - An animal complaint when a report of two dogs were attacking a little girl on East Chestnut Street.

Nov. 16

8:26 a.m. - A Massachusetts motorist was given a speeding citation on Walpole Street and South Main Street.

1:52 p.m. - A motor vehicle accident with property damage took place on Moose Hill Street and Walpole Street.

9:54 p.m. - There was a noise complaint filed when music was playing too loud on Pond Street.

Nov. 17

1:21 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle on High Plain Street and Rte. 1, where the motorist was seen throwing beer cans out the window of the car.
