Sharon Police Log: Alligator Spotted in Pond, Erratic Driving and Vandalism

The following information was provided by the Sharon Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate conviction.

Saturday, Aug. 11

Track Trekking (9:20 p.m.) - responded to Chestnut Street and Train Station Street on a report of people walking along the train tracks.  

Open Gate (3:04 a.m.) - Police responded to Mountain Street and Whippoorwill Street on a report of an open gate.

Friday, Aug. 10

Erratic Driver (7:02 p.m.) - Police received a report of an erratic driver near Cobbs Corner and North Main Street. Stoughton Police were notified as well.

Hit and Run (2 p.m.) - Police responded to Old Post Road and Rte. 1 on a report of a hit and run accident. 

Wednesday, Aug. 8

Intoxicated Parent (6:38 p.m.) - Police received a report of an intoxicated parent at a local sporting game on East Foxborough Street.

Alligator Spotted (2:38 p.m.) - A resident of West Street reported to police that an that they spotted an alligator in the pond at their home.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

Erratic Driver (5:34 p.m.) - Police responded to the area of Cobbs Corner, where they received a report of an erratic driver.

Monday, Aug. 6

Vandalism (12:33 p.m.) - Police received a report of vandalism to a lifeguard stand on Beach Street.
