Sharon Police Log: Fingerprints, Larceny and Suspicious Activity

The following information was provided by the Sharon Police Department Daily Log. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Sunday, Sept. 23

2:03 p.m. - There was a report of a boating incident on Lake Massapoag. Boat was submerged and boaters were in the water.

2:58 p.m. - Hampton Road. Fingerprints were taken at the station.

5:42 p.m. - There was an animal complaint on Mountain Street and Sherwood Circle. Report of a large dog walking in the middle of the street.

6:30 p.m. - Larceny. Report of items missing from a house on Arboro Drive.

10:20 p.m. - Report of erratic operation of a motor vehicle on Beach Street and Memorial Lake. The report stated that motor vehicle was doing donuts in parking lot.

11:03 p.m. - Suspicious activity on Lakeview Street. Person reported that they saw an object in the sky with small lights.

Monday, Sept. 24

12:06 a.m. - There was a suspicious vehicle on Lakeview Street.

10:00 p.m. - Report of a disturbance/noise complaint on Route 1. Two males were seen fighting en route.

1:37 p.m. - An arrest was made on South Main Street on a warrant.

5:09 p.m. - There was an attempt to serve for criminal harassment activity on Wilshire Drive.

5:11 p.m. - Report of erratic operation of a white sedan on West Street.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

12:16 a.m. - Suspicious dark color motor vehicle in cul de sac on Berkshire Ave. 

1:09 a.m. - There was a suspicious moto rvehicle seen on South Main Street.

10:26 a.m. - Fingerprints taken at the station.

2:44 p.m. - Report of a suspicious tan motor vehicle parked in front of a vacant house on Pine Street.

3:32 p.m. - General Disturbance reported at Sharon High School on Pond Street.

6:24 p.m. - Report of two loose dogs where noone was home on Gunhouse Street.

7:48 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was seen on Mountain Road at Mountain Street Ext.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

10:20 a.m. - There was disturbance/a noise complaint of construction equipment on Massapoag Ave. 

11:49 a.m. - Larceny, report of a stolen mailbox on Mountain Street.

8:40 p.m. - Report of a motor vehicle accident, past hit and run, where party left the scene on Mohawk Street.

1:57 a.m. - There was a suspicious motor vehicle seen on Route 1 Highway.

3:25 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle on Bella Road and North Main Street.

Thursday, Sept. 27

6:23 a.m. - Complaint report on Allied Waste picking up trash too early on Grove Ave.

1:48 pm. - Suspicious activity when a trash bag was left on Canton Street.

5:35 p.m. - There was suspicious activity on Deerfield Road when a suspicious letter was left in their mailbox.

7:14 p.m. - There was an animal complaint on Mountain Street when a bat was found inside the home.

Friday, Sept. 28

8:54 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident and property damage on Ames Street and South Main Street.

12:21 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident and property damage on Bradford Ave.

12:42 p.m. - Complaint of a loose dog on Glendale Road. Officer located the dog.

4:16 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident and personal injury on East Foxboro Street.

4:50 p.m. - Illegal passing of a motor vehicle on Bayberry Drive and North Main Street. A verbal warning was given to party.

Saturday, Sept. 29

3:05 p.m. - Report of a motor vehicle off the road. License suspended.

6:13 p.m. - Motor Vehicle accident and property damage on Gertrude Ave. and South Main Street.

11:56 p.m. - A disturbance on Highland Ave. Report of an intoxicated party.
