Sharon Police Issues Do Not Call Registry Information

The Sharon Police Department is reminding residents about the Do Not Call Registry.
With the National and Massachusetts Do Not Call Registries, two easy ways to stop those annoying telemarketing calls. The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home.
Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint on the National DNC Registry website listed  below.  You can register  your  home and mobile phones  for  free.  
Residents should put their landline numbers on both the national and state registries. Cell phones can only be put on the national list. You can register your phone numbers on the registry websites or calling the numbers listed below:
