Sharon Firefighters Handle House Fire, Stuck Elevator

The fire happened at 4:54 p.m. Friday, at . No one was injured, although a cat died, Fire Chief James Wright said.

And on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 9:01 a.m., firefighters helped someone stuck in a stalled elevator at 181 Pond St., .

On Sunday, Sept. 25 at 9:28 a.m., EMS responded to 95 Mountain St., and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 12:43 p.m., EMS responded to 51 Hixson Farm Road Unit 262, and provided basic life support.

At 3:33 p.m., EMS responded to 6 Eagle Drive, and provided advanced life support.

On Monday, Sept. 26 at 2:50 p.m., firefighters responded to Wilshire Drive at Bay Road for a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian, and transported one person to the hospital.

At 11:30 p.m., EMS responded to 168 Ames St., and provided advanced life support.

On Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 12:35 a.m., firefighters responded to Interstate 95, south of Exit 9, for a motor vehicle accident with injuries, and transported one person to the hospital.

At 9 a.m., firefighters investigated a carbon monoxide incident at 8 Deborah Sampson St.

At 4:21 p.m., EMS responded to 21 South Pleasant St., and transported one person to the hospital.

On Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 9:49 a.m., EMS responded to 16 Wilshire Drive, and transported one person to the hospital.

At 9:50 a.m., firefighters investigated a report of arcing, shorted electrical equipment at 14 Huckleberry Lane.

At 11:24 a.m., EMS responded to 93 Pond St., and transported one person to the hospital.

On Friday, Sept. 30 at 1:56 p.m., firefighters notified other agencies of a gas leak (natural gas or LPG) at 175 Pond St.

At 4:45 p.m., EMS responded to 1 Commercial St., and provided advanced life support.

At 6:44 p.m., firefighters responded to 47 Bayberry Drive for smoke or odor removal.

On Saturday, Oct. 1 at 2:24 a.m., EMS responded to 15 Bayberry Drive, and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 9:32 a.m., EMS responded, mutual aid, to 8 Beverly Hill, and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 10:20 a.m., EMS responded, mutual aid, to Cobb's Corner for a motor vehicle accident with injuries, and provided first aid and checked for injuries.
