Rocks Thrown at Window, Car; Unwanted Solicitors; One Arrest

Wednesday, June 25 

  • At 4:51 a.m., police responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle on Route 1 
  • At 4:54 a.m., a burglar alarm went off on Commercial Street 
  • At 5:09 p.m., police responded to vandalism, the victim reporting damage to a lawn and mailbox, Bay Road
  • At 6:36 p.m., police responded to solicitors going door-to-door on Azalea Road  
  • At 8:19 p.m., police responded to complaints of solicitors going door to door on Mountain Street 
Thursday, June 26 

  • At 1:42 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Avalon Bay Street, where there were unwanted guests
  • At 4:49 a.m., police responded to suspicious activity on Wadsworth Way 
  • At 6:34 a.m., police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Mohawk Street 
  • At 8:16 a.m., police responded to a report of money stolen from a bank account 
  • At 8:43 a.m., police responded to a call of a suspicious motor vehicle on Mohawk Street 
  • At 12:02 p.m., police responded to a report of vandalism/broken window on Norwood Street
  • at 12:23 p.m., a resident on Laurel Road reported that she found some items in the bushes 
  • At 5:56 p.m., police responded to a report of an elderly person ringing a doorbell 
  • At 7:36 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity, Massapoag Ave.

Friday, June 27 

  • At 12:51 p.m., police responded to a suspicious person trying to collect money door to door in the Chase Drive area 
  • At 2:44 p.m., a neighbor reported an open front door 
  • At 6:03 p.m., police assisted a citizen who reported a hit and run
  • At 8:31 p.m., police assisted a person who wanted an unwanted party to leave, Bayberry Drive 
  • At 10:34 p.m., a citizen reported that a rock was thrown at her car, East Street 
Saturday, June 28 

  • At 1:33 a.m., police assisted the Norwood PD with an accident involving injuries on Route 95 
  • At 12:05 a.m., police responded a family dispute, Foundry Road 
  • At 5:10 p.m., police responded to a call about a yellow lab running down North Main Street 
Arrests: 

Kenneth Ellis Dominique, 42 Plain Dr., Stoughton, was arrested and charged with operating after suspension, speeding, June 28
