Police Log: Stolen Bike, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, and More

Sept. 17

8:44 a.m. – A motor vehicle accident with no injuries on North Main Street was reported.

1:27 p.m. – A male wearing a blue hoodie was reported on Edge Hill Road.

2:03 p.m. – A wire across Morse Street and Massapoag Avenue was reported.

2:21 p.m. – A motor vehicle hit a bicyclist on Norwood Street.

3:33 p.m. – A breaking and entering occurred during the day on Quincy Street. 

8:02 p.m. – Yuriy Khiter, 55, of West Roxbury was arrested on South Main Street and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license and failure to register as a sex offender.

10:51 p.m. – An erratic operated was reported on Gavin’s Pond Road and Grapeshot Road.

11:03 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported near Moose Hill Street and Walpole Street.

  

Sept. 18

1:44 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported near Moose Hill Street and Moose Hill Parkway.

9:37 a.m. – Illegal dumping on Pond Street was reported.

2:54 p.m. – A license plate was found on Wilshire Drive.

 

Sept. 19

1:53 a.m. – Contractors dumping materials on South Main Street was reported.

3:48 a.m. – A possible intruder was reported on Thorny Lea Road.

7:07 a.m. – An injured raccoon was reported near Route 1 and Exit 9 of Route 95.

7:16 a.m. – A minor motor vehicle accident at Train Station Street and Chestnut Street was reported. There were no personal injuries.

7:45 a.m. – A male at Memorial Beach asking students to zip up his wet suit was reported.

6:40 p.m. – A bicycle was stolen from the train station. 

10:05 p.m. – A car horn going off on Cannon Ball Road.

 

Sept. 20

4:47 p.m. - A injured turkey was found near Norwood Street 

10:23 p.m. – A chair was round in the road near Bay Road and Chessman Drive.

 

 

Sept. 21

1:02 a.m. – A Norwood resident reported their vehilcle missing on Train Station Street and Chestnut Street.

8:41 a.m. – A resident reported a re-occuring large yard sale on South Main Street.
