Police Log: OUI, Stuck FedEx Truck, and More

The following is from the Sharon Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

Dec. 4

2:05 a.m. - After pulling over a vehicle on Chive Drive and North Main Street, police arrested and charged Daniel Ward, 47, of Stoughton with operating under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, and speeding.

5:47 a.m. - A deceased deer was reported on Mansfield Street and Massapoag Avenue.

7:35 a.m. - A phone pole hanging in the roadway on Norwood Street was reported.

8:20 a.m. - A car accident at Post Office Square was reported.

2:12 p.m. - A car parked on the sidewalk on South Main Street was reported.

2:46 p.m. - Police assisted with a stuck FedEx truck on Bullard Street.

11:11 p.m. - Gunshots from the gun club was reported from Belcher Street.


Dec. 5

12:56 p.m.- A parked car with a "for sale" sign on South Pleasant Street was reported. 

1:45 p.m. - A car accident with no injuries was reported on Old Post Road and Route 1.

6:50 p.m. - A noise complain about children on Bayberry Drive was reported.


Dec. 6

1:51 a.m. - Graffiti was reported on a sign near the playground on Ames Street.

2:00 p.m. - An elderly female that appeared lost on East Foxboro Street was reported.

11:22 p.m. - A car was reported off the road on Moose Hill Street.
