Police Log: Icy Roads Leads to Accidents, Repossessed Car, and More

Jan. 16

1:57 p.m. - Vandalism was reported on Norfolk Place.

2:58 p.m. - Possible fraud was reported on Country Lane.

4:18 p.m. - Motor vehicles racing down Gorwin Drive and Massapoag Avenue were reported.

5:10 p.m. - A phone scam was reported on Magnolia Drive.

7:49 p.m. - Sharon Police assisted Walpole Police with a car accident on Route 1 and High Plain Street.

 

Jan. 17

9:04 p.m. - A coyote was reported near Henry Street and Walpole Street.

3:05 p.m. - A damaged mailbox was reported on Gavin’s Pond Road.

 

Jan. 18

2:35 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Norwood Street and Terrapin Lane.

10:48 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident on Mohawk Street was reported.

12:14 p.m. – The DPW was notified of icy roads around town. 

12:37 p.m. – A motorist was assisted after a car went off the road near Norwood Street and Route 95.

12:40 p.m. – Cars off the road on East Foxboro and Beach Street were reported. 

12:48 p.m. – An officer reported that Norwood Street and Cobbler Lane were not passible.

1:08 p.m. – A pedestrian accident near Edge Hill Road was reported.

1:27 p.m. – A motorist went off the road on East Foxboro Street and Beach Road.

1:35 p.m. – A car accident was reported on South Walpole Street and South Main Street.

2:02 p.m. – Vehicles off the road on Beach Street and East Foxboro Street were reported. 

6:00 p.m. – A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Mountain Street.

8:40 p.m. – A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Bay Road. 

10:56 p.m. – A car was repossessed on South Main Street.
