Police Log: Goat in the Street, Vandalism, and More

The following is from the Sharon Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

Nov. 27

9:19 p.m. - A minor car accident was reported on South Main Street and Walpole Street.

9:24 a.m. - A tree on Tree Lane fell, possibly on a car. 

12:07 p.m. - A car accident on Route 1 and Exit 9 on Route 95 was reported. The Massachusetts State Police assisted at the scene.

2:09 p.m. - An iPhone was found outside of Shaw's6 on South Main Street.

4:53 p.m. - A dog running in traffic on Norwood Street and Pine Grove Avenue was reported.

8:35 p.m. - A tree branch was removed from Edge Hill Road and Dedham Street.

9:07 p.m. - Someone knocking on a door on Capen Hill Road was reported.

9:12 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle parked on Moose Hill Street was reported.

10:41 p.m. - A possible shoplifter was reported in a store on South Main Street.


Nov. 28

3:40 a.m. - A motor vehicle with a trunk open was reported on Pond Street.

12:49 p.m. - The water department was notified of rusty water on Country Lane

1:13 p.m. - A small brush fire was reported on South Main Street and Wolomolopoag Street. 

7:24 p.m. - A deer hit by a car on East Street was reported. 

8:08 p.m. - A car hitting a pole on Moose Hill Parkway was reported. 

9:28 p.m. - A child making a lot of noise was reported on Bayberry Drive.


Nov. 29

9:34 a.m. - An unoccupied vehicle parked near a pond on Oak Hill Drive and Hampton Road was reported.

9:48 a.m. - Sharon Police assisted Stoughton Police with a past hit and run.

11:02 a.m. - A disturbance at Delta House on South Walpole Street was reported. 

9:30 p.m. - A goat in the road on Massapoag Avenue and Morse Street was reported.


Nov. 30

2:32 p.m. - Vandalism to a motor vehicle on Avalon Drive was reported.

4:18 p.m. - Lost property was returned to its owner on South Main Street.

4:42 p.m. - A deer hit by a car on Wilshire Drive was reported.

5:50 p.m. - A coyote was reported near Thorny Lea Road.

10:32 p.m. - A suspicious car parked at Cumberland Farms on South Main Street was reported.
