Police Investigation Leads to Bomb Charges for Sharon Man

A two week investigation has led to bomb charges for a Sharon man.

This week, Michael F. Parilla of Sharon was arraigned in Wrentham District Court on one count of possession of an explosive or incendiary device, two counts each of possession of ammunition, and two counts of littering.

The investigation was the result of neighbors in South Foxboro reporting bags containing fireworks, disassembled shotgun shells, threaded pipe and other paraphernalia according to the Sun Chronicle.

A search warrant was obtain after a joint investigation by Foxboro and Sharon Police. The search allowed police to obtain an arrest warrant.

The arrest was made when Parilla went to the Sharon police station to complain about a dog in his neighborhood. Police then realized he was the man in the warrant.
