Man Who Allegedly Hit Jogger Pleads Not Guilty

Jeffrey Bickoff heads back to court on Aug. 8.

The Sharon man accused of killing a Sharon woman by hitting her with his SUV while she jogged pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide in Stoughton District Court on Wednesday, July 9, reported the Boston Globe. 

Jeffrey W. Bickoff, 44, of Sharon, was given a $10,000 cash bail and his pretrial hearing is Aug. 8. 

Haley Cremer, 20, died as a result of her injuries. Police say that the 20-year-old woman may have been out for a run in the late afternoon when she was hit by a white Ford Explorer.

The prosecution argued that Bickoff, who has a history of driving offenses, had three drinks with alcohol before driving, and that it shouldn't have been hard to see Cremer.
