Christmas Trees Spirit Into Sharon Road Hazards

Here are the highlights of the Sharon Police log.

The Christmas spirit got into Pond Street twice last week -- causing road hazards.

At 10:51 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, an officer reported a Christmas tree in the road on Pond Street, according to the Sharon Police log.

A few hours later, at 2:38 p.m., someone reported another Christmas tree in the road on Pond.

At 12:55 p.m., someone reported a tree down at South Main Street at Gavin's Pond Road.

At 1:56 p.m., someone reported a sick or injured fisher cat on Wilshire Drive.

At 2:48 p.m., someone reported a tree ready to fall on Norwood Street.

At 4:40 p.m., someone reported a tree on power lines at Moose Hill Parkway at Moose Hill Street.

At 5:03 p.m., someone reported motor vehicles were broken into on Route 1.

On Monday, Feb. 13 at 7:42 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle struck a tree at Aztec Way at Furnace Street.

At 8:21 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident at Route 1 at Interstate 95 Exit 9.

On Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 1:33 p.m., someone on Hixson Farm Road reported identity theft.

At 4:16 p.m., someone on Avalon Drive reported identity fraud.

At 5:05 p.m., someone reported a small dog running into traffic at Post Office Square at South Main Street.

At 10:57 p.m., someone on Route 1 reported guests causing a disturbance.

On Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 12:04 p.m., someone reported a two-car accident on Moose Hill Street.

At 2:54 p.m., someone reported a rabid animal at Ames at Quincy streets.

At 9:22 p.m., someone on Robs Lane reported a motor vehicle was vandalized.

On Thursday, Feb. 16 at 5:18 a.m., someone on Leonard Road reported loose change was stolen from a motor vehicle.

At 7:42 a.m., someone on South Main Street reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

At 11:16 a.m., someone on Pond Street reported vandalism to a laundry facility.

At 11:50 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident on Route 1 at I-95 Exit 9.

At 1:45 p.m., police assisted animal control with a dead fox on Mountain Street.

On Friday, Feb. 17 at 3:13 p.m., someone on Pond Street reported a motor vehicle was egged.

At 11:26 p.m., a Pine Grove Avenue resident reported their house and car were egged.

On Saturday, Feb. 18 at 10:07 a.m., a Furnace Street resident reported vandalism to a mailbox.
