Orange is not the Only Color! Prisoner Artwork Exhibit Opening Reception, Sat., March 8 at 7pm

One Book, One Town: Sharon invites the public to attend the Safe Streets Arts Reception on Saturday, March 8 at 7pm at the Sharon Community Center.

Browse and purchase original art work by prisoners represented by the Safe Streets Arts Foundation.

The Safe Streets Arts Foundation is committed to helping prisoners use the arts as a rehabilitative and therapeutic tool to develop self esteem and a positive attitude, vital for successful reentry into society. Proceeds are used for inmate art supplies and victim restitution.

The art reception will be held in the Adult Center of the Sharon Community Center(downstairs), 219 Massapoag Avenue.  Wine & cheese will be served.
