Sharon Police to Dedicate Monument to Sharon WWII Solider

The Sharon Police Department invites the public, Military Veterans, and Business Owners to attend an event to dedicate a monument to an American hero, Sharon resident First Sergeant James A. Keating. 1st Sgt. Keating was Killed In Action during WWII after rescuing a wounded comrade. He received this country’s third highest award for valor in combat, the Silver Star Medal.

Please join Sharon police in dedicating this beautiful monument to our own hometown hero!

There will be the posting of colors by the U. S. Army National Guard’s Yankee Division Color Guard, a prayer by local clergy and several speakers.
