Power Restored To 6,500 In Sharon, Walpole, Norfolk
Walpole substation issue cuts electricity to them for about an hour this morning, NSTAR says.
About 6,500 Sharon, Walpole and Norfolk NSTAR customers lost their electricity for about an hour this morning after an equipment failure at a local NSTAR substation.
The outage happened around 7:10 a.m. at NSTAR's substation on South Street in Walpole, NSTAR spokesman Michael Durand said.
Power was restored about an hour later, he said.

Durand wasn't sure which Sharon neighborhoods lost their electricity.
However, Shaw's Plaza, on South Main Street, was reportedly affected.
