Steve Tapper and Audie Bridges are a flute and guitar duo from Massachusetts, whose

unique and expressive style draws from many different sources, yet maintains a strong identity. Tapper and Bridges have been performing together since 1986, and their repertoire includes distinctive, well-crafted original compositions as well as jazz, classical music, folk music, blues, popular music and various world music styles (Jewish music and Brazilian music are specialties.)

Steve plays flute, alto flute, bass flute, piccolo, renaissance and baroque  flute, and recorders, while Audie plays classical guitar, steel-string guitar, twelve-string guitar, electric guitars, and laud. They have released three recordings ("Island Dance" ,"Simple Gifts", and “Shalom Aleichem”), which have received national airplay and international sales. They are currently working on several new recordings.

At the coffeehouse, they will perform both as a duo and as a band accompanied by  Zach Bridges on bass, and Mike Connors on drums and percussion.
