In it, Ryan uses her experience and knowledge of news reporting to convey a gripping political mystery/thriller - "Dirty politics. Dirty tricks. And a barrage of final twists. A disgraced journalist and a Boston detective find themselves chasing the same case .... and they may be facing a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to silence a scandal. As one character warns: 'You can choose your sin - but you cannot choose your consequences.' Seduction, betrayal, and murder - it'll take a lot more than votes to win this election."
Annie's invites mystery lovers to join the fun on July 20, from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
