Free, educational, and awesome entertainment -
Don't miss seeing David Worobec, a graduate student at the Boston Conservatory, present a special holiday show Thursday evening, December 13th. David, the owner and director of Top Hat Toy Theater, will be the featured entertainment of the final 2012 Quarterly Meeting of the Sharon Historical Society.
Toy Theater was popular back in the Victorian era, long long before internet, x-box, and cable tv. To see and David in action with his Toy Theater, check out the youtube video at
This event will be held in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Church of Sharon. A brief business meeting of the Sharon Historical Society will start promptly at 7 pm, and David will begin immediately thereafter. Please arrive before 7 pm for best seats to see the Toy Theater actors perform. And no matter where you sit, you will be able to hear David's incredible operatically trained voice.
David and his cast of toy actors will be performing a revue of top hits from Brigadoon, South Pacific, Camelot, Jesus Christ Superstar, and perhaps a few other well known shows. The show is suitable for everyone from mature children to senior citizens.
After the show, socialize downstairs with members of the Society while you enjoy a free goodie with a cup of tea of coffee. David will have CDs available for sale, and of course information on becoming part of the Sharon Historical Society will also be on hand.
